2,000-year-old murder victim found A skeleton unearthed by archaeologists is likely to be that of a murder victim dating back 2,000 years.
The remains of the man were found during an excavation of the Iron Age site at Mine Howe in Orkney last year. Tests have now revealed he met a violent end, having been stabbed numerous times and dumped in a shallow grave.
Experts believe the skeleton dates between 100 BC and 100 AD and are hoping to find out more about how and why the man met his death....
