England is full of historical places and buildings, which do you like to visit...
I love cairns and barrows, i also love castles.....I often, when I'm out and about visit old churches, i just love their architecture and their history......
There's something magical about trekking in the woods and across farmers land to discover a burial mound or an old Celtic villiage.....Once while lost in Cornwall we discovered an old Celtic church in the middle of nowhere.....
So, where do you like to visit most?.....

I guess my favourite place would have to be Glastonbury - the place is so special to me and I always feel like I'm home whenever I go there. Having said that most of Somerset gives me that sense of calm and peace and belonging ( my family are from Somerton ). Cheddar is an awesome place too. I like traipsing through forrests - the New Forrest is truly a wonderful place but all forrests are aren't they. England is full of beautiful villages and all of them are steeped in history. Oh the lush green lands of home - sigh Now I feel all home sick

Bless you Hedge~ Scotland is also a favorite of mine ~ Once while driving through Glen Co we came across a 10th century inn~ Amazing building but the highlight was the men were all wearing Kilts with boots, oh my! ;D ;D ~ Opposite was a new pub and i could not believe the amount of people that would rather go in there than the inn one ~
