Here is something that you might want to look at and make comments on. Tesco Corporate Responsibility contacts Environment We believe in sustainable growth - it is responsible, it is what our customers want and it makes good business sense. If we take decisions that are unsustainable, we may harm the world we all live in. 14 big companies including Tesco, Shell and Voda Phone are lobbying the government to get get tough on Global warming and offering suggestions as to how it should be done. One can only hope that they have seen the light and are genuinely on this. They must know Thet environmental disaster is not good for anyone.

I am extremely sceptical in matters such as this. At the end of the day these big corporations are out to make money and that is where it ends. If they were REALLY that bothered about the environment then they wouldn't desecrate ancient forrests to build new superstores - end of! I won't be holding my breath.

I remain skeptical to but even these money driven companies have to realise that ecological disaster will hit their profits, also although many of the greener technology will cost them initially, but will eventually save money in the long run, also when the government dose eventually stamp on the on polluters they will be ahead of the game and look good in the eyes of the shoppers.
