Do you really think that planting a single tree seed or naturing the soil in your own garden really helps?
I do let us look at how many people live in the your town or village and what if everyone of them planted a tree seed. In my case that would be 3000 trees! A small wood from one village. Just think of the impact that would have if everyone did it. You probably would find that given the rate of survival of trees up to adult age we would run out of free space before we ran out of trees if they were planted in the wild so make a difference and plant one in your garden!

Oh defiantly and iv planted four in my garden........
I have noticed in 10 years that the wildlife in my garden has increased, big time.....I see more butterfly's then ever, i see more birds, more bugs and once i even had a snake in the garden...
Trees provide a myriad of homes for thousands of species, and food for all those habitats.....
Unfortunately trees in Cities no longer live as long as they used to, pollution kills a lot of the trees in greatly populated areas....Have you noticed that when your out and about that a lot of trees are losing the leaves to the tops of their branches, pollution from cars, buses, lorries, planes and factories......
